Hold Your Fare

How can I hold a fare for my flight?

You can hold a fare during the booking process. On step 2, you’ll find the “Book now, pay later” option in the lower side of the page. Click to hold the fare you like the most. For more info, please go to Hold Your Fare.

 

How long can I hold a fare without losing my reservation?

Keep in mind that if you don't make the payment within 72 hours, your reservation will be canceled.

 

What is the extra fee of holding a fare?

You can find out the cost of this service in Additional Services Fees. Remember that you can make your payment by going to My trips and choosing the "Pay for your reservation" option using your reservation code and email address.

Third Party Payment

What are the requirements for paying at a third-party branch?

Make your reservation at least 72 hours in advance, print your reference numbers, and pay for your flight within the following 24 hours at the branch of your choice. Check the requirements and bank branches in Third-Party Payment.

 

Can I pay for a change to my flight at a Third-Party branch?

Any changes to your flight must be made through the Call Center using your information and reservation code. Find more information on How to change your flight.

 

Are there any extra fees for Third-Party payments?

Fees may vary depending on which branch you choose to make your payment. Check the requirements and bank branches in Third-Party Payment.

Online Payment

What are the benefits of paying on the website?

This is the easiest option since you can make your payment from anywhere with no additional fees and your personal and credit card details are completely secure. Choose this as your method of payment once you have completed the booking process at www.volaris.com.

 

Why is the price on the website different than the price from the Call Center?

Remember that our prices may vary based on availability and how far in advance you purchase the flights. You can find our current promotions on our website.

 

Can I pay with a debit card?

Yes, you can pay for your reservation using a credit or debit card. You can find more informartion in Payment Options.

 

Can I pay with more than one credit or debit card?

Yes, it's possible to make a split payment between the cards of your choice, whether debit or credit. Find out more in Payment Options.

Deferred Payments

Can I pay with two cards, with the second using deferred payments?

You can only request deferred payments when paying with a single credit card. Remember that with the Volaris INVEX Card, you will receive unique benefits such as 3, 6, and 11 interest-free monthly payments. To use two cards, whether credit or debit, your payment must be made in a single installment.

 

What can I do in the case of duplicate payment for my reservation?

To validate what happened with your reservation and begin the reimbursement for the duplicate reservation, you will need to contact our Call Center at 01 (55) 1102-800 from Mexico, 1 855 VOLARIS (865-2747) from the United States, +502-2269-9451 / +502-2301-3939 from Guatemala,  or 506-4000-0229 / 506-4002-7462 from Costa Rica.

 

Do all cards apply to interest-free monthly payments?

To defer your payments to interest-free monthly payments, our Volaris INVEX credit cards are the only ones that offer you 3, 6, and 11 interest-free monthly payments for your Volaris purchases. Request it here.

Who can use the UpLift service?

The UpLift Pay Monthly service is only available to US citizens with a credit card issued in the United States.

 

Where can I apply for the Pay Monthly service?

The Pay Monthly service is only available on the Volaris website.

 

What type of travel can I purchase using Pay Monthly?

With Volaris, the service is only valid for the online flight booking process.

 

Who is responsible for the Pay Monthly loan servicing and customer service?

 UpLift oversees Pay Monthly as well as any questions related to the service. You can contact UpLift at support@uplift.com or (844) 257-5400.

 

Who is responsible for flight customer service when I pay using UpLift?

Volaris oversees customer service related to the flight and you can contact us through our Call Center.

 

Where can I find the UpLift Pay Monthly service on the Volaris website?

You can find the UpLift Pay Monthly service by selecting to pay with a credit card, then choosing Payment in USD, and finally selecting deferred payments.

 

How can I participate in the UpLift Pay Monthly program?

Enter simple information such as your mobile number and the last four digits of your social security number on the Volaris site and UpLift will let you know within seconds whether your loan was approved.

Review your detailed payment plan, accept the terms and conditions, and complete your flight purchase with Volaris.

 

What do I need to use the Pay Monthly service and get an UpLift loan?

You must be at least 18 years old (other loan conditions may apply for residents of Alabama and Nebraska).

Provide a valid mailing address in the United States or an APO/FPO/DPO as your home address.

Provide a valid mobile or VoIP number in the United States and agree to receive SMS text messages. The mobile account must be registered in your name. The monthly UpLift Pay programs are not currently available for those who are unable to accept these terms.

Provide your full name, email address, date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number to help UpLift verify your identity.

 

Are there any additional fees or interest associated with UpLift Pay Monthly loans?

UpLift offers one of the lowest rates in the industry, starting at 4.99% (9.01% APR).

UpLift charges a 2% origination fee.

In case of late payment, UpLift will charge a default fee of $10.00 and will send a negative credit activity report to the credit reporting bureau.

 

Do I have a credit limit with UpLift Pay Monthly loans?

Unlike a credit card, the UpLift Pay Monthly offer is not a revolving line of credit. Each UpLift loan is independent, and your balance decreases as you make the payments.

 

How many UpLift Pay monthly loans can I have?

You can receive a maximum of two distinct loans through the UpLift Pay Monthly program. Each credit application will be evaluated by its credit risk at the time of the application.

 

Does UpLift perform a credit check?

 Yes, after obtaining your consent, UpLift will perform a 'soft' credit check to verify your identity and determine your eligibility for financing. Regardless of the evaluation of your application, this 'soft' credit check will not affect your credit score. After you have selected the loan option, UpLift will ask you to complete your application with a deposit and your full Social Security number. Completing this step is the completion of a loan application and it may affect your credit score since UpLift will perform a 'hard' credit check. UpLift provides information throughout the process that may affect your credit score.

 

What is CBW and how is it related to UpLift?

CBW is a Kansas-based bank and it is the lending institution for all loans obtained through UpLift.

 

Is my personal information secure with UpLift?

UpLift offers one of the highest levels of data security in the industry (PCI Level 1). UpLift encrypts all sensitive data, including your social security number. UpLift also maintains physical, electronic, and procedural measures to protect your information.

 

Why didn't UpLift approve my loan?

UpLift considers a wide variety of factors when evaluating loan applications. If UpLift is unable to approve your loan, they will provide you with the specific reasons for which it was not approved via the UpLift borrower portal at www.uplift.com. All you'll need to do is sign in using your mobile number.

 

How can I cancel a purchase that I made using Pay Monthly within the first 24 hours?

You can only cancel your purchase directly with Volaris within the first 24 hours.

Volaris will then make your Pay Monthly loan payment for the purchase.

Your loan will appear as canceled on the UpLift website once the refund has been received. Sign in at www.uplift.com using your mobile number to see if there is any remaining balance on your loan.

 

Are there any cancellation fees?

UpLift and Volaris do not charge any cancellation fees, but the cancellation process is only available during the first 24 hours after your purchase.

 

Can I make changes to flights I booked using Pay Monthly?

Any changes related to your trip must be discussed directly with Volaris. Any changes to your trip will affect your loan balance and will depend on the type and nature of the change as well as the dollar amount associated with the change.

To adjust your loan terms, you must submit a new application through the Volaris website and choose the Pay Monthly option again.

 

Can I apply for the UpLift Pay Monthly service from my mobile phone

Unfortunately, UpLift does not accept applications over the phone. Please visit the Volaris website.

 

When does interest start to accrue?

Interest will begin to accrue once your loan has completed processing (3-4 business days after your reservation date).

 

Where can I review my loan details?

Information about your loan will always be available through UpLift's borrower portal at www.uplift.com. Simply use your mobile number to sign in.

 

How do I make a loan payment?

As part of accepting the terms and conditions of your UpLift Pay Monthly loan, your loan payments will be automatically taken from your credit card.

 

Can I make additional payments on my loan?

Yes, you can so by signing into the borrower portal at www.uplift.com using your mobile number.

 

If I make additional loan payments, will my monthly payment change?

 Your monthly payment will not change, but the amount of the last payment will be less, and the duration of your loan will be shorter.

 

Are there any penalties for paying off my loan early?

No, there are no penalties for paying off your loan early.

 

When I pay off my loan, do I pay interest on the total amount of my loan or only up to the payoff date?

You will only pay interest until the payoff date.

 

Can I change the credit card I'm using to make my loan payments?

Yes, please sign in to UpLift's borrower portal at www.uplift.com to provide a new card for payments.

 

Which cards can I use to make my loan payments?

Your loan payments can be made using any Mastercard credit card, Visa debit, Mastercard debit, Discover credit card or Discover debit card. Payments made by card will earn you the points, miles, or other benefits of using the card provided by the card issuer.

 

Will UpLift send me payment reminders?

Yes, UpLift will send you both email and text message reminders.

 

When are my payments due?

Your monthly payment date is based on your purchase date. For example, if you purchased your ticket on January 10, 2020, your next loan payment would be on February 10, 2020. If your scheduled payment falls on the last day of a month that does not have 30 or 31 days, the payment will take place on the last day of that month. You can also review your payment schedule by visiting pay.uplift.com

 

What happens if I don't pay?

Be aware that when you take out a loan through UpLift, you are entering a legal obligation to repay your loan. UpLift may report your repayment information to one or more credit bureaus. If you are late making a payment, miss a payment, or do not repay your loan in full, your credit and your travel plans may be negatively affected, and you will not be able to use UpLift Pay Monthly for future trips.

 

How do I update my phone number, email, or address?

To update your contact information, please contact UpLift at support@uplift.com or (844) 257-5400.

Pay at the airport

What are the counter hours to pay at the airport?

The Volaris airport counter hours are from 4:00 am to 11:00 pm.

 

Which cards can I use to pay at the airport counters?

If you are purchasing in advance, you can purchase your flights directly at Volaris airport counters. Participating credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diners.

 

Can I pay by check at the airport?

You can make the payment for your plane ticket directly at the airport counter using cash or with an INVEX, Mastercard, Visa, Diners, or Discover credit card.

 

I went to the airport and they said my promotion wasn't valid. Why?

Remember that our promotions are subject to availability and you must abide by the dates of the promotion. Prices may vary based on flight availability.

 

Which currencies can I use to pay?

You can pay for your reservation using US dollars, Mexican pesos, and the local currencies of Costa Rica and Guatemala as well as participating credit cards. Get more information in Payment Options.
